According to Bloomberg’s sources, Samsung plans on unveiling two variants of the Galaxy S6, including one that will feature a display on three sides. Both variants of the Samsung’s upcoming flagship will come with all-metal bodies, use its “most advanced processor chips” and will feature a 5.1-inch display. Samsung has been developing the Galaxy S6 under the codename “Project Zero” and will be using metal frames from BYD Electronic International on the handset. Bloomberg’s report corroborates a lot of reports, rumors, and leaks from earlier, which stated that the S6 Edge will come with a display that is curved from both sides, an Exynos processor and a metal-unibody. Even the press invite from Samsung for the launch event of the next Galaxy hinted at its upcoming flagship featuring a curved display. It looks like Samsung is all set to take things to the next level with the Galaxy S6, especially after the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5 turned out to be not that impressive. Previous reports have also indicated that Samsung plans on optimizing the software on the Galaxy S6 to make it as smooth as the Nexus 6 — an area where Samsung has long been criticized for sub-par performance.
