David Beador of the RHOC has announced he is engaged to Lesley Cook. The proposal comes only nine months after he reached a financial settlement with his ex-wife.
Shannon joined the franchise back in April of 2014 at the start of the ninth season. Fans were introduced to yet another blonde with three children and a happy marriage. Shannon was outgoing and often the center of attention. Throughout the years, fans watched as she became increasingly unhappy and gained weight due to her husband cheating on her. The couple tried to reconcile and attend therapy but, in the end, the two decided on a divorce.
The women of Orange County are no stranger to failed marriages and subpar husbands. Such is the case for Shannon, as she and the rest of the reality television world have been told that her ex-husband David Beador has recently become engaged. E! broke the news that David had popped the question to girlfriend, Lesley Cook who happened to be 20 years younger than him while in Florida. The couple was vacationing in Miami Beach when Cook took to Instagram to share with her followers that David had got down on one knee saying that she was looking forward to an “eternity with her love” while showing off her new diamond in front of the Fontainebleau. Cook also thanked David for being such a constant in her life and said she appreciated all he had done for her.
According to Cook’s social media story, the two left California to travel to Florida to celebrate the Super Bowl. Beador and Cook first started dating right after he had called it quits with his Real Housewife back in 2018. Beador and Shannon had been married over 17 years and finalized their divorce in April of 2019 after months of arguing. Shannon has also moved on with a new beau, John Janssen, who fans have yet to be introduced to on the hit Bravo show.
As of yet, Shannon as not commented on her ex-husband’s new fiancé. In a past interview, she did say that they both had gone their separate ways and she was fine with it after taking six months to decompress from the breakup. The reality star also said the two do not speak or interact with one another. Recently, Shannon found out that her long-time friend Tamra Judge had deleted her from social media after being fired from the show. Fans will have to keep an eye out for the new season to hear her full reaction.
