Teresa Giudice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey fame detailed how she confronted her husband Joe Giudice’s, alleged mistress nearly 16 years ago. The New York Times Best Selling Author recently opened up about her ex-husband’s infidelity.
Teresa is best known as the table-flipping prima donna of the New Jersey housewives. The reality star seldom thought before she spoke when interacting with her fellow cast members. During the earlier seasons of the third installment of the hit franchise, Giudice would seemingly cause trouble, then try to play dumb. Recently, in 2013, both Joe and Teresa found themselves in trouble when they were indicted for filing a false bankruptcy report, trying to hide their wealth. Joe had other charges brought against him as well, also being indicted for failing to file tax returns between 2004 and 2008.
On Wednesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa opened up to the other wives and their spouses as she explained that she was fully aware that her husband, Joe had been unfaithful to her whilst they were married. She revealed that nearly 16 years ago she had found a secret cell phone owned by Joe that had only one number on it. Their eldest daughter, Gia, was only three at the time and the young mother felt she could not leave Joe as she had just quit her job. According to Teresa, Joe denied he was cheating and said he talked to this particular woman because they had grown up together. The Bravo film crew had caught Joe being sneaky years after when the couple was in California and Joe was still mic’d saying Teresa was a “b*tch of a wife.”
According to Hollywood Life, Joe had actually been photographed with the mystery woman at one point during their marriage. Teresa said that Joe and she were featured in a magazine and the enigmatic woman was “training her too,” hinting that she was a personal trainer. Teresa confirmed that her husband did, in fact, grow up with this woman and at the time she did not have the proof to accuse him of cheating even though the housewife claimed she did ask him why he had a separate phone to speak with her. Shockingly, Teresa admitted that she did at one point confront the woman who denied the allegations, so she was forced to get over the incident.
Joe has always been adamant that he never stepped out of his marital vows. Now though, looking back, the mother of four feels that something did happen between the two even though Joe tried explaining he was only trying to help the woman sell her house. Fans were shocked that Teresa finally admitted to the cameras that their relationship was not always perfect and look forward to more honesty from her in the future.
